Pittsburgh Musical Theatre

Jendoco Construction completed an exterior restoration for the Pittsburgh Music Theater (PMT), which use to be the old St. James Catholic School and more recently the St. James Center.  Pittsburgh Music Theater (PMT) purchased the building in 2013 and immediately selected Jendoco Construction to perform the restoration.

PMT selected Jendoco Construction for several reasons.  First was Jendoco’s history and ability to complete difficult restorations during building occupation.  Second was Jendoco’s experience with Non-profit, sensitive occupants.  Lastly was the knowledge of restoration of masonry structures.

Jendoco’s team installed a new roof, completely repointed the masonry, and replaced/repaired building structure (steel) in several locations to prevent building distress or even collapse.  PMT stayed open during this entire year long project.

Jendoco worked an earlier shift to complete work and clean up prior to the students occupying the building in the afternoon.  Jendoco Construction has also finished several interior projects including a renovation to the PMT offices and has been working with PMT on several upcoming projects for the non-profit group.
